The forum organized by the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” and the Exhibition Center “Odessa Home” united a Conference and an Exhibition, in which more than 100 companies from 15 countries took part.
Forum participants – maritime educational institutions, crewing and transport companies, developers of marine simulators and software, banks, medical centers and other organizations involved in seafarers’ education, training, labor relations and daily life.

Topics for plenary sessions and panel discussions: global shipping today and tomorrow; the human factor and the work of seafarers in a pandemic; upcoming challenges for seafarer recruitment agencies; education and practical training of seafarers; the use of simulators, new teaching technologies and knowledge assessment.
The Forum’s motto is “Partnership for Progress”. The partnership, the joint efforts of all interested parties, will solve the problem of the lack of qualified personnel in the world merchant fleet and ensure efficient and safe shipping.
